10/23/08 -- ProudImageChorus.com is back online and the chorus is getting geared up for another harmony-filled holiday season! On the 19th of October, The Proud Image competed in the Central States District Fall Chorus Competition in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and took 10th place out of 16 very tough competitors. The guys had a lot of fun and got some great comments from the judges so that we can come back next fall with a vengeance (The good kind). The chorus would also like to take the time to say our congratulations to one of our former members Brandon Yarborough and his quartet "Split Decision" for claiming the CSD Novice Quartet Championship as well as a spot in the Central States District Top 10.

Since it appears that the winter season is at our doorstep, let us remind you that the Proud Image is available for any of your Holiday gatherings. Everybody loves the sound of carols being sung by a choir... so why not book one of your very own?! Contact Brett Crawford with any booking-related questions!

07/15/08 -- First off, welcome to the newly revamped home of The Proud Image Chorus! While not all pages are complete, please feel free to look around at the new features and check out the brand new Proud Image Photo Gallery. This is a very exciting new step forward in web-advertising for the chorus and we hope that you enjoy yourselves here whether it be for business or pleasure.

06/03/08 -- A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our annual show, "You Raise Me Up" an ENORMOUS SUCCESS! We are extremely happy with the turn out and the show that was put on, and will continue to build on our successes in preparation for next year's show!

The Proud Image would like to send a special thanks to our special guest, the Cedar Harmony Chorus of Sweet Adelines, for their unbelievable musicianship and an outstanding set.

We would also like to thank Night & Day, All Terrain, and Fascination for making appearances on the show and hope that they won't deny an invitation to perform in 2009 as well.

The Black Hawk Metro Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society was established in 1979, and with three appearances on the international stage and numerous Plateau A district championships, The Proud Image Chorus is striving to once again become known as one of the best Barbershop Choruses in the World.
